OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Jan. 10, 2008 - Tortoise Energy Infrastructure Corp. (NYSE: TYG), today announced the characterization of the 2007 dividends paid to stockholders which were comprised of approximately 58.7 percent return of capital and 41.3 percent qualified dividend income. The 2007 portion of qualified dividend income increased, as compared to 2006, due to realized gains on sale of portfolio investments and a positive earnings and profits adjustment from our MLP investments.
